Happy Things

Well...this is the third time that I am trying to write and post this blog. The other two times I wrote it I went to post and it told me that there was an error...so...they say third time is a charm....

You could ask any woman who has a boyfriend or a husband and she would probably tell you that she has the BEST man in the whole world...at least let's hope she would say that. I have proof though that my boyfriend IS the best man in the world. :)

For instance...last night he showed up with the clamps to fix my dryer and FLOWERS!!! These were not "special day" flowers...they were "just because" flowers...how happy is that??? It wasn't long before my dryer was fixed and he was helping me to move my entertainment center up against the wall (now that I finally have cable). Of course...during the process of moving the unit my thumb was smashed. It hurt so bad!!! But...being the excellent athletic trainer that he is...he soon had me icing it down in a bowl of ice water...this was only after I sat on the floor crying for several minutes refusing to let him see my thumb or get remotely close to touching it or me...but even after all my childish behavior he still gave me a kiss! :)

But that isn't all...not by a long shot...

He has helped me with every part of my move...and he is still helping me to put things away and get everything in its right spot.

He takes out my trash...without me ever asking or saying anything...most of the time before I even notice that it needs to be done!

Then there is the fact that he helps me get dinner on the table...empties the dish washer...and then helps me to clean up dinner afterwards....all WITHOUT so much as a word from me!!!

He has helped put together numerous cabinets and bookshelves...

He puts up with my crazy cats and my weird little quirks...

He deals with my mood swings and my venting events...all with a smile, a kiss, and a hug to make me feel better...

He opens doors for me...

He puts up with my numerous phone calls a day and my millions of emails....just to say hi...

So...I think I win! I found the best one by far...at least in my opinion!!!
